Terms of Use

Summary: our tools are aids. They do not certify compliance or replace legal, clinical or professional advice. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled.

1. Who we are

These tools are provided by Blue Pearl Fox LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Blue Pearl Fox", "we"). Contact: info@bluepearlfox.com.

2. Acceptance

By using our website or tools, or by purchasing, you agree to these Terms for yourself and the organization you represent.

3. Website Trust Scan

You may scan only websites you own or are authorized to scan. The scan reads publicly available pages and does not log in, submit forms or test for vulnerabilities. Results are automated indicators and may contain false positives or miss issues.

4. Subscriptions and payments

  • Subscriptions (Comfort Toolbar, Reynard) are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew until cancelled.
  • You may cancel anytime; access continues to the end of the paid period. Fees paid are non-refundable, including partial months.
  • One-time purchases (full Trust Scan report) are non-refundable once the report is delivered.
  • We give at least 30 days' email notice of price changes. Founding beta prices are locked for 12 months from purchase.

5. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the tools you paid for, for your own organization: the Comfort Toolbar on the website(s) you subscribed for, and Reynard on your organization's computers. You may not resell, redistribute, copy, reverse engineer, or remove branding or notices, except as allowed by law or a separate written agreement.

6. Your responsibilities

  • Keep AI provider keys and devices secure.
  • Do not enter protected health information, client confidential information or personal financial data into a cloud AI provider unless your organization has the agreements required by law (for example a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement).
  • Review all AI output before relying on it or sending it.

7. Not professional advice

Our tools and their output are not legal, clinical, tax or compliance advice, and do not create an attorney-client, consulting or business associate relationship. Automated accessibility checks and the Comfort Toolbar do not make a website ADA or WCAG compliant.

8. Third-party services

Some features rely on third parties (Stripe, Netlify, Google Translate if enabled, Ollama, Anthropic, OpenAI). Their terms govern your use of them. We are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, or for fines, penalties, breach costs or lost profits. Our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the three months before the claim, or US $100 if you used only free tools.

11. Termination

We may suspend or end access for breach of these Terms or non-payment.

12. Governing law

Florida law governs these Terms. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in St. Johns County, Florida.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms and will email subscribers at least 30 days before material changes take effect.
